This Privacy Policy explains how Mee6 Bot Personalizer ("the Bot"), operated and maintained by N8VENTURES, handles information obtained through its operation within the Discord server in which it is deployed.
The Bot is a private Discord moderation and server-management application. It is currently intended for use within one Discord server only and is not intended to be publicly deployed across multiple servers.
By using or interacting with the Discord server where the Bot is installed, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
The Bot is configured with extensive Discord permissions because it performs moderation, automation, logging, ticketing, and server-management functions.
Depending on the action being performed, the Bot may have access to information available to a Discord server administrator, including:
Discord user IDs
Discord usernames and display information
Server and channel information
Roles and permissions
Messages and message content
Moderation actions
Member information
Server configuration information
Audit and moderation events
Information submitted through the server's ticketing system
The Bot only uses information that is relevant to its functionality and server-management purposes.
The Bot stores moderation and administrative information within the Discord server itself.
This may include:
User IDs
Usernames or other identifying Discord information
Warnings
Infractions
Ban records
Temporary ban records
Kick records
Mute and timeout records
Reasons associated with moderation actions
Dates and times of moderation actions
Messages or message content associated with moderation incidents
Automated moderation records
Ticket messages and information submitted through tickets
Other information necessary to maintain a moderation history
The Bot does not maintain a separate external database for this information. Records are maintained through Discord channels and other Discord-provided functionality within the server.
Information is retained primarily to provide a reliable moderation history and administrative record.
Moderation records may be used to:
Maintain a history of a member's offenses
Determine whether repeated violations have occurred
Assist moderators and administrators in making consistent moderation decisions
Document the reason and circumstances for moderation actions
Review previous incidents
Assist with moderation appeals
Verify information submitted during an appeal
Operate automated moderation systems
Operate the server's ticketing and administrative systems
Maintain server-management functionality
The purpose of maintaining these records is to provide a "paper trail" for moderation and administrative purposes.
The Bot may process and retain message content when necessary for its functionality.
This is particularly applicable to:
Automated moderation
Offensive-content detection
Moderation records
Moderation investigations
Ticketing
Appeals and related administrative activity
Messages identified as violating server rules may be recorded as part of a moderation or infraction record.
Ticket messages may also be retained because tickets can contain information necessary to resolve a user's request, report, appeal, or support issue.
Information handled by the Bot is stored within the Discord server through Discord channels and Discord's platform functionality.
The Bot does not intentionally maintain a separate external database containing the server's moderation records.
Users should understand that information stored within Discord remains subject to Discord's own policies and infrastructure.
Moderation and administrative records are generally retained for as long as the Discord server remains active.
There is currently no scheduled automatic deletion period for moderation history.
Records may therefore remain available until:
The relevant records are manually deleted by authorized server staff;
The relevant Discord channels or records are deleted; or
The Discord server itself is deleted or otherwise ceases to exist.
Authorized server administrators may manually remove records when appropriate.
Information stored by the Bot is accessible to authorized personnel who have appropriate permissions within the Discord server.
This may include:
Server administrators
Moderators
Community staff
Other authorized server personnel
The Bot does not provide moderation records to ordinary members unless an authorized server feature or staff member intentionally makes such information available.
We do not sell personal information.
We do not intentionally share the Bot's stored moderation information with third parties for advertising, marketing, or commercial purposes.
The Bot is operated as a private, non-monetized moderation application.
Information may nevertheless be processed by Discord as part of providing the Discord platform. Discord's handling of information is governed by Discord's own privacy policies and terms.
Users may request deletion of information associated with them by submitting a ticket through the server's ticketing system.
Requests will be reviewed by authorized server administrators or staff.
Please note that certain moderation records may be retained when server staff determine that they are necessary for moderation history, security, abuse prevention, dispute resolution, or appeal verification.
Authorized server administrators may also manually delete stored records where appropriate.
Reasonable administrative measures are used to restrict access to moderation records to authorized server personnel.
Because the information is stored through Discord, the security of the underlying Discord platform is also relevant to the protection of this information.
Users should avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive personal information through public channels or tickets.
The Bot is built on MEE6's Bot Personalizer feature, which links a self-hosted Discord application to MEE6's underlying moderation and server-management infrastructure. As a result, information processed by the Bot may also be processed by MEE6 as part of providing this functionality.
MEE6's handling of information is governed by MEE6's own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, in addition to this Privacy Policy. Users are encouraged to review MEE6's privacy policy for details on how MEE6 processes information on its platform.
The Bot does not intentionally transmit stored moderation information to any other third-party service for advertising or monetization purposes beyond what MEE6's Bot Personalizer feature requires to operate.
The Bot does not intentionally collect personal information from users for the purpose of identifying or profiling children.
The Bot's operation is subject to Discord's own age requirements and policies.
This Privacy Policy may be updated when the Bot's functionality, data handling practices, or deployment changes.
The "Last Updated" date at the beginning of this document will be updated when material changes are made.
Questions, concerns, or data deletion requests may be submitted through the Discord server's ticketing system.
